He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, please open [our] eyes that [we] may see.” So the LORD
opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses
and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
2 Kings 6:16–17 (ESV)

There is no arguing the fact that God is all-good, all-present, and all-powerful. But, as I've shared once or twice over the last few weeks, our ability to find peace and comfort in that is predicated on believing this is true. Simply saying it, whether to convince ourselves or others, will not do the trick.

This is why it is critical to develop this trust and reliance in the good times. So that we are prepared for the storms. Prepared beforehand, not struggling in the midst of. Or, as Dallas Willard put it...

"If you will take the time required to come to know and trust God as he is, you can come to a place of
perfect peace and fearlessness. Because God is with you, you can live without fear. This is precisely
what the Shepherd Psalm (Psalm 23) is talking about."

To that end, I offer the following opportunity...

Two and a half hours to teach yourself to trust God in crisis. And, as I said Sunday, this is not the last crisis you will face. So you will be setting a foundation that will last a lifetime.

In this particular instance, do not just think about it. Do it.
