Too often in this life, we don't take the time to get to know the people who really matter to us as well as we should. We just don't think about it. Or, if we do, we assume there will always be more time.
Until there isn't.
I've recently started looking into my family history. Unfortunately, most of my search must be done through obituaries and government documents. I didn't consider consulting the primary sources, those who actually lived the history, until it was too late.
Because I assumed there would be more time.
But you don't have to make the same mistake. You can start the process of knowing, and being known, now. During this holiday season.
This is a great way to know parents and grandparents in deeper ways than you might have thought possible. And it's a wonderful opportunity for your own kids.
And, in the process, maybe you start a tradition. A tradition which sees you sharing yourself with your children, grandchildren, and maybe great grandchildren in the years to come.
Think about it.
